Q: Please help! I am 20 and live on my own right now with a part time job that dosen’t even cover my bills so I can’t afford to go to the doctor but for the last week Ive had every sign of a urinary tract infection AND a kidney infection. Does anyone have any at home remedy suggestions or things that will at least make me more comfortable so Im not in so much pain? I will appreciate any suggestion 🙁
A: Chamomile tea is believed to cure infections, so drink at least 3 cups of tea at room temperature or if you prefer drink it with ice. It should help relieve the pain and if you have a fever it will help you with that too. I have used this home remedy before and it sure works, so try it out. The first cup that you drink will do the trick, but like I said drink 3 cups for a period of approximately 3 days…you’ll be fine! Take care.

A: If it is a bad infection no matter what you do you will still have to go see a doctor for antibiotics. But drink plenty of water and cranberry juice. There is a pill at the pharmacy called AZO Standard It’s supposed to help relieve the symptoms of a Urinary Tract Infection but it has actually taken some of mine away. Hope it works for you because I know how bad they can be.
Home remedy for urinary tract infection?
Q: I am not able to get an appointment in for months. I dont have insurance or medicad so I go to the health dept. But they aren’t able to see my for months. My urinary tract infection began yesterday or at least that’s when I started to feel the symptoms. I only drink water already and I cut sweets out of my diet about three days ago. I need advice on how to get rid of the infection without antibiotics.
A: Cranberries are so good for urinary tract infections. They have ingredients that incapsulate the bacteria so it cannot attach and multiply, and so that you can easily urinate the bacteria out.Any form will do – cranberry pills, cranberry juice (try and find something with as little sugar as possible), or just plain cranberries.Up your water intake so that you are peein like a mad man! Once the pain goes away, continue with the cranberry/water regimen for a few more days. And please, look into some more flexible health insurance, I’d hate for you to get the flu or something and not be able to get a doctor’s appointment. 🙁
