Minnesota Timberwolves fans have had it rough over the past several years. I remember going to the Target Center and watching Garnett, Cassell and Spreewell just torch opponents. And the glory days of Western Conference championship appearances only to say the refs took us out of the game with phantom foul calls and blind eye to the physical play of the more dominant Lakers.
Over the last few years we have been subjected to a mediocre young team with the occasional bright spot. Kevin Love’s record breaking double double streak. Actually, mediocre is really being benevolent. The Timberwolves just flat out sucked! No if ands or buts about it. But if you’re a true blue fan like myself, you go trot down to the Target Center anyway to get your heart broken time after time again with playground like play, bad coaching, and attitudes of twelve year olds in the park.
Ladies and Gentlemen, all that is about to change. The Minnesota Timberwolves looks to be a young very capable team with plenty of promise in the future. So we will be dazzled again with more NBA dreams of a championship instead of nightmares of an early season. I am asking all Minnesota Timberwolves fans to come out and support our team this year because we want to make noise in the NBA once again. I believe in our new coach Rick Adelman. I believe in our core players although everything is still going to be a building stage. Now, and finally we have a foundation of the right talent and the right coaching. And its up to us to provide the electric atmosphere as only the Timberwolves fans can do.
I am asking as a fellow fan. I do not work for the Timberwolves in any way. But if there are anymore Timberwolves fans out there that would like to for a pack.
