Fall Folly

Crisp cool air spiced with pumpkin

Warm Tea in my cup

Dressed to the nines in my woolen attire

The color of the leaves remind me almost of small fires

The kids are getting ready for Halloween

The parents are getting Candy

I wait for little ghouls and goblins at my door

So they can run back home and yell SCORE!

Then comes November

Oh how can I not remember!

Grandma’s homemade dishes

Hot and warm always hearty

Its makes me wish I could have thanksgiving everyday

While my family crowds around the TV watching the Redskins Play.

Then the season changes

And at the first sign of Snow

I wish it was already fall again
