Season of Peace

Snow falling gently, silent and white,
Sparkling lights dazzle, winking so bright.
Lighting a fire give warmth through the night,
Icicles shimmer, a wonderous sight.

Angels and Wise Men, guiding and wise,
Aromas of cinnamon and pumpkin in pies.
Santa and reindeer take to the skies,
A cradle where the King of Man lies.

The glimmer of silver, the glitter of gold,
Ornaments holding stories untold,
Flickering candles, soft music of old,
Christmases past and memories they hold.

Red and green satin on each Christmas ball,
Christmas trees standing magestic and tall.
Mistletoe hung by the door and the hall.
The feelings of peace and goodwill to all.
