The half price sale starts on Saturday ending with a $1 dash on Sunday for those consignors who participate in that. The Gainesville sale will open Wednesday, November 16th and go through Sunday, November 20th. What is great about these dates is that the majority of consignment sales hit in October so if you forget to pick up necessary items, you have to go to other means (such as shopping full retail) for the items.
If you wish to consign, this is also great so you can participate in more sales. When big consignment sales hold their events on the same weekend, it limits the amount of sales a consignor can participate in. Both of these events do not coincide with other big sales which makes them easier to hit as both a seller and a buyer. As a consignor, you start with being able to keep 60% of the profits with no additional selling fees inflicted. However, if you volunteer, your profit margin increases by 5% as well as enters you into the potential to win a $50 gift card to use to shop for the items you need at the sale.
