Year Round

There is a surprising number of wonderful winter produce. Squash is, perhaps, the most abundant piece of produce in the winter months. Acorn and winter squash are some of the most popular. Leeks are also an unforeseen winter item. As far as fruits go, grapefruits are just coming into season in January.

Another great option for getting your hands on local, fresh and beautiful produce is a community grocery store. In Sonoma County, none quite compare to the local farming outreach of Oliver’s Market. With two locations in Santa Rosa and one in Cotati they offer a wide variety of local vendrrs.
