There is place which I call Goose Island
It is small in size and nothing grand
Geese make it their home while ducks stay away
As the geese are the rulers on the island all day
They hiss and honk and take pride in their home
They defend with honor the island they own
I smile as I watch them defend from all birds
I am often so amused I am at a loss for words
