Not more than everyday did the thought of courage come into the mind of a young man name Lucius. Lucius thought that his courage had been lost. Lucius looked everywhere for his courage.
You see Lucius suffered. A private boy, Lucius always attempted to hide his ailments to feel “normal.”
One crisp sunny morning Lucius left the house only to find out that today would be the day he would find his lost courage. While trucking along to school Lucius came upon a group of women walking briskly that he passed almost every morning. The women stopped him.
“We don’t know how you do it,” one of the women told him.
“Do what,” Lucius replied?
“Find the courage to face life everyday,” The other woman said.
“What other choice do I have,” Lucius asked as he began to zoom off?
A minute passed before Lucius began to think about the ladies who had stopped him and what they said. Just then, a smile came to the face of the young boy. Looking everywhere for it, Lucius realized that his courage hadn’t been lost at all. Lucius finally understood that his courage was within him all along but he just never thought to search there.
