Q: Hi Guys, This may be a long one lol. I was pregnant in September, only in early stages and had a miscarriage. I started miscarrying on the 19th of September and the bleeding went on for about 2 weeks. At about a week and a half of bleeding I was given Tranamexic Acid ( something along them lines ) to slow the bleeding. It stopped fully and I was back to normal. My HCG was 7 when I began to miscarry so by the end of it they said I am okay to begin trying again. I had the depo injection July 10th and caught pregnant on that. Thats why I miscarried apparently? The injection ran out 3rd of October and I have been having unprotected sex at least once every two days since then. On the 13th October I began having brown discharge, It wasnt heavy, just thick. It has lasted 7 days (until yesterday). In between this brown discharge I have had some pink spotting too, just when I wiped?! … I know they say us women just “know” when they are pregnant, well some. With the past pregnancy I just got sore, swollen boobs. Over the last 3 – 5 days my boobs have beginning to become sore again but not swollen like before? But I have the nausea feeling but not like I want to be sick just a funny feeling in my stomach. I also had diarreah for 2 days (not sure if this would be a sign?) and also I feel a bit dizzy when I stand up after sitting down at my desk at work for a while. I done a test on the 15th. Which was negative. But im guessing this is way to soon to test. I dont know when my period is due, this is obviously because of the miscarriage.??What do people think? Pregnancy? Symptoms of the miscarriage? I really dont know. I am sort of hoping I am pregnant but I know what Im feeling isnt fake from hoping so much?? Helppp?Thanks in advance xxxx

A: Well, brown blood is old blood so it may be from the miscarriage still. Although, you are supposedly really fertile after a m/c, so who knows? Maybe you did get pregnant right away. I guess you’ll just have to wait at this point and see if the bleeding completely stops, then test again. If you don’t get the right answers here, try calling your doctor and telling them what’s going on.Best wishes.

Head colds as a sign of pregnancy?

Q: Ok this is strange. We began TTC in Dec. Got preggers right away, then miscarried. Happened again in March. What is so strange, is that each time before I actually tested positive I got a head cold, which was always gone by the time I missed my period. As it happens I have yet another cold….grrr. I am just wondering if any one else has had this or is it really just coincidence.

A: That just happened to me… I too had a cold for a little over a week recently. It ended a couple of days ago, and just yesterday i took a hpt and it was positive. I have heard of this happening to other women, but for some reason it is never listed as a sign of pregnancy (only runny or stuffy nose is- but I had a full out cold!) Good luck!!!!!

Can someone define the definition of “Sore” breasts in early pregnancy?? (different opinions wanted)

Q: Okay so I thought it would be interesting to find out just what every womans defination of “Sore Breasts” really is – I mean, how exactly can you tell if your breasts are “early pregnancy” sore??….I have never really had sore breasts in pregnancy, until recently (lost the pregnancy unfortunatly) – and the only way I could tell my breasts were sore, is if my husband fondled them (the same way he always has) – I began noticing they were sore to touch, but if they weren’t touched, everything seemed fine – well, I lost that pregnancy about a month ago, and my hormone levels were followed back down to 0 – but just recently (a week or less) the same thing started happening and still havn’t had a period since miscarrying, wondering if this is a sign that I am pregnant again??…Would love all answers!!

A: My breast were actually better than a pregnancy test. If I went down the stairs in my home, without a bra on, and found that I had to reach up with my arm to support them – I was pregnant. I don’t have large breasts, but unsupported movement was painful – that’s my description.
