The first time John heard of time machine, he made his mind that he will try and see this machine before he dies. He went everywhere to ask people about it, but nobody was able to show John where one can obtain a time machine or see one.
One afternoon whilst travelling from Boston to New York by flight, he luckily met an old man who has invented a time machine and was using it to help lots of people. John upon listening to the old man told himself, this is the fulfilment of my quest. After listening, John asked the old man whose name was Angel, if he could pay him a visit to see how a time machine looks like. The old man agreed, and the following week John went there to fulfil his quest.
When he arrived, Angel welcomed John, gave him something to drink and then took him on a tour in his Inventionland. He took John all rounds and made him see all his inventions, including a machine that can supply electricity to distant places without using cables. After the tour, John did ask Angel if he can help him to have a better future. Angel agreed and told John that he will help him without taking any fee for his service.
He therefore sat John down and instructed him on how the machine functions. He told John that, he will have to enter inside the time machine. When he enters, before the machine starts to work, John has to close his eyes. The reason is, time machine works with powerful lights-inside it are lights that are beyond imagination; and if a person’s eyes are open, the lights can make one blind. John listened carefully, and told Angel that he will do as instructed.
Angel took John into the room where the machine is, and made him to enter into the machine. When he was about to start the machine, he told the young man to close his eyes. The machine read the past and the future of John and printed the whole thing on a paper. When the machine finished its work, Angel did switch off the lights and told the young man to come out. The old man gave him the results of his past life and did ask if the machine is right or wrong; and, John told the man that the machine is right. Angel then made John to see how his future was to be and the steps the machine has prescribed to help him arrive in that future. Some of the steps to be taken were more discipline, commitments to good, setting goals, lack of procrastination, focus, integrity and many other values. Besides, he told John that he will need to accept Jesus Christ as his saviour to obtain eternal life after this life. When he has finished, John told the old man that he will do as the machine has said, because he wants a better future.
He thanked the old man, went his way and did as the time machine has prescribed and he became very great after a few months.
