A: this has happened to me and its very devastating …your chances of a tubal pregnancy working are like19%…you wouldn’t carry to term..and it would be touch and go but its possible…if its God’s will it will happen…good luck to you
what are the chances of having another miscarriage if i have already had 1 but i have had 2 live births so far?
Q: I am currently pregnant with my 3rd baby and Im 5 weeks 4 days today. I had a normal birth the first time around then I got pregnant 6 years later and had a miscarriage at 9 weeks. Then a year later I got pregnant and had a healthy baby again, now Im pregnant and I was wanting to know the chances of having another miscarriage? I was so sick with my first pregnancy, then with the miscarriage I only felt alittle queasy, the last pregnancy I was sick just not as bad, and now Im just alittle sick to my stomach, is that normal or should I worry?Thank you guys so much for answering my question…..It eased my worries….Im sure I will have more to post…..THANKS AGAIN!!!!
A: One miscarriage, especially as it has been followed by a live birth, will not affect your chances of a successful pregnancy this time and was almost certainly “one of those things” rather than an indication of a problem that could prevent you having a healthy pregnancy. Therefore your risk is around 20-25%, which is the risk for all young, healthy women with no known miscarriage risk factors. Symptoms will vary from pregnancy to pregnancy, so don’t worry about that xx I’ve never had morning sickness and have a 3 and half year old and 32 weeks pregnant!
I just had an IUI done for the first time.. what are the chances of it working?
Q: I’ve been trying to conceive for alittle over a year now with no pregnancyI’ve been pregnant twice, both ended in early miscarriageafter my last miscarriage I can’t seem to get pregnant anymore..so I just had an IUI done..and to be honest I don’t think it’s going to work..I read on the internet that it did not work for alot of women and if it did it was their 3rd or 4th time trying the IUI and with fertility medication… I’m not on any kind of medication…what do you think are the chances of me becoming pregnant??? Has anyone got pregnant with their first IUI with no medication???
A: We are having our 1st IUI this month, but we are on meds. I’ve gotten a bit discouraged lately too, as many of the stories I’ve read online seem to say it has taken multiple tries for a successful IUI. But, you know what? Many people have success on their first IUI. I have 2 contacts on here that are proof. We are doing IUI because we are dealing with male factor infertility. We are hoping that after the sperm wash that there is enough good sperm for the IUI to be successful. Let just keep our fingers crossed and hope and pray that we beat the odds and succeed our first go. I too, am wondering why your dr isn’t doing IUI with any meds? I ovulate normally, have great regular cycles, but my RE still put me on Clomid, hCG trigger shot, and Progesterone suppositories. I would question him about this. However, this is not unheard of. As long as you had a good, viable egg, and hubby provided a decent amount of good and healthy sperm, then your chances of it succeeding are good. Stay positive and kick your feet up this cycle. Fingers crossed for you and sending you tons of hugs, luck and baby dust 🙂
