Does anyone think I could be pregnant?
Q: I have been on the pill since August of ’07. I broke up with my boyfriend at the end of March of this year, therefore I went off birth control. We got back together for one week after that, where we used condoms irregularly. Then we broke up once again. This was around the 7-9th of April. I got my period on time at the end of the month, but looking back now, it was shorter than what I was used to. I have not had my period since. Naturally, I’m worried that I may be pregnant. If that’s the case, I should be around 16 weeks. The last week or so, I’ve been having terrible lower back pain, where it doesn’t matter what position I’m in, stretching it does not make it feel better, and as of yesterday, I’ve started getting bad heart burn, which I rarely ever get. I have also gained weight in my stomach region. Those are the only symptoms I seem to have. I have not had morning sickness and my breasts have not changed (yet). My mother said that she didn’t have morning sickness when she was pregnant with me either. I have taken 3 pregnancy tests (First Response), all of which have said negative. The first two I did in the month of May, and this last one I just did last night. So what do you think my chances of being pregnant are? I’m making a doctor’s appointment for next week.
A: well im not a doctor but i have watched a lot of “I Didn’t Know I Was Pregnant” Episodes on the Discovery Health Channel. and guessing from what i know i will say that there is a good chance that you are pregnant. pregnancy tests aren’t always accurate. the best way of knowing whether or not you are pregnant is to have the doctor perform a blood test on you. you show some symptoms of being pregnant but your doctor will be the one to determine whether you really are pregnant or if something else is going on. wish you the best!

A: have you had sex since your last period, or have you held hands that’s the one that will get ya, if you answer no that you are not
Could I be pregnant? I’ve had some mild symptoms. Please see below.?
Q: Okay, so for all of you who has been pregnant or is pregnant at this time, I need some answers. I am 3 days late on my period. I haven’t had a period this whole month of May..a few weeks ago my boobs started hurting a little bit, but then my nipples got pretty tender. I thought maybe my boobs were a little tender because my period was on it’s way. But never have I had my nipples hurt before my period is supposed to start. I’ve also had a few nausea here and there, but I haven’t puked yet. I’ve also had some bad gas pains shoot through out my gut about 2 weeks ago. I haven’t had much of the gas pains since. Apparently, according to my husband, I’ve been pretty moody lately. I have had some mild cramping..again I thought maybe it is associated with Aunt Flow. But normally it isn’t quite this constant. So I guess my question is..do you think that I could be pregnant? I’ve never been pregnant in my life, so I’m not exactly sure what I should be looking for. I know my Mother and Grandmother never got morning sickness through out all their pregnancies. In the morning, when I’m making my husband lunch, I get a massive stomach ache. Ugh-I hate them! So any thoughts anyone?
A: That sounds like pregnancy to me. Just because your mother and grandmother didn’t have morning sickness doesn’t mean you won’t. Take a test, your HCG levels should be high enough to show now if you are. I took my HPT 2 days after I was due and the positive popped up literally right away. Good luck =)
