Q: I am 15 and do not feel loved. I feel so alone! I have many good friends though, and people see me as this very happy and loving person. But what people don’t know is how unloved I am. How sad I am. How my life is at home. How my life has been since I was little. I cry myself to sleep each night and nobody knows. I feel as if my whole life is a secret and it pretty much is.

A: I agree keep your head up high, but don’t just settle for that. Find one of your friends that you trust completely, and tell them the whole truth. The more you keep things bottled up the worse it can get. You need to find an outlet for these pent up feelings. If you don’t it can cause some serious damage to you. I don’t know what your views are on the subject but here is what I personally did. Mine was prayer and two really good friends that got me through some really tough times, and anytime I need them they will always be there for me, and I for them.
