Yankee Candle Favorite Fall Scents

If you have been shopping recently you have likely walked by the cute jars filled with brightly colored candle wax. You may have even smelled their wonderful aromas before you spotted them. Those would be the Yankee Candles. As the Yankee candles have grown in popularity each year so have the variety of fragrances.

My favorite Yankee Candle comes in the old fashioned looking rounded jar with a lid. They come in three sizes and I counted over 120 available fragrances. The Yankee Candles can be found at most department or drug stores and I have seen the price range from $8 to $26.

I love the warm holiday aroma these candles give your home and I have listed my personal favorites that I burn during the months of October and November. These scents give my house the smell of Fall and Thanksgiving. Enjoy!

Pumpkin Spice: This is my very favorite! It has such a strong pumpkin aroma you would swear there was the most delicious homemade pumpkin pie cooling on the kitchen counter. Has a hint of clove, nutmeg and cinnamon.

Pumpkin Cream: Did I say I love pumpkin? This is a little more creamy sweet smelling pumpkin, almost a hint of vanilla or cookie in it.

Autumn Leaves: This has that smell of the dried leaves in the fall. I think it has a bit of an orange smell with it. It is very nice and has a smell I remember as a kid jumping in the leaves.

Holiday Sage: I suppose this may be intended for Christmas, but I really like the sage smell at Thanksgiving. It has a hint of rosemary and evergreen smell.

Be Thankful: This is advertised as having the aromas of a Thanksgiving kitchen. I would say it is a bit like pumpkin with hints of cinnamon.

Harvest: Has an apple and pumpkin smell with a slight hint of cloves and cinnamon.

Reminder from author: Enjoy your Yankee Candle but do not leave unattended or near young children.
