Q: Sat. night my gum where my wisdom tooth on the bottom right is supposed to come in, started to hurt. Every once in a while this happens so i just thought it was wisdom teeth, but then it got worse, eventulay it got so bad that i couldnt talk right, close my mouth and it made the two nearest molars hurt. my mom said she thought it sounded like an abscess. the next day my dad took me to urgent care, and at that point the swelling had gone down enough on its own that i could talk normal and close my mouth, i told the dr. that and she said it felt too gummy to be a wisdom tooth and an abscess would only get worse and told me to rinse with peroxide. about 9 pm yesterday the swelling was bearable but then it got worse this morning. i woke up and the whole right side of my mouth hurt and i cant close my mouth or talk right and its memorail day so i cant get into the dentist and i really want to know what is wrong with me as i have a dental phobia so im freaking out, any advice would be great!
