Q: Well, here’s a massive description of my symptoms, in the most organized manner I can think of:Major Symptoms:-4 week headache: both sides of head and behind eyes and in temples, sudden onset and relief, dull/sharp pain, usually positionally affected (especially lying down)-Swollen neck lymph nodes: First pain started with left neck gland (first doctor thought it was because of wisdom tooth infection, pain persisted after wisdom teeth extraction), largest node is about 1.5cm, both nodes on each side are swollen and randomly painful (they’re both hard to the touch, but not painful to the touch, also immovable) but the left much more than the right-Generalized lymphadenopathy, occasional pain and tenderness from major groups of nodes (armpits, groin, and extensions thereof), along with sharp pinpointed pain from nodes under the ribcage-Sporadic myositis: random, fleeting mild muscle pain in random muscles throughout the body, mostly occurring at higher concentrations in major node areas; back of thighs, abdomen, left and right abdomen, back muscles, upper-arm muscles, neck muscles; also have neck stiffness and pain-Swollen, red and pus-covered tonsils (but no sore throat)-Occasional tenderness in spleen-MalaiseOther symptoms, possibility without relation:-2-day severe sore throat, resolved within 48 hours of taking Amoxicillin-Fatigue, this might’ve been caused by anxiety over the symptoms though-Nausea, possibly related to hydrocodone and lack of appetite (also from drugs)-Diarrhea, only occurred once-Instance of chills and/or feeling of fever (without having one) for a 3 days post-wisdom tooth extraction-All flu-like symptoms so far have been short-lived or resolved, I think some were definitely self-induced-Recent pain in cheeksOther things to note:-No fever-Prior to wisdom teeth extraction my only symptoms were the chronic headache–which persisted for 2 weeks off and on before any other symptom–and slight pain in the left neck lymph node with very little swelling, but still noticeable, the day of my first doctor appointment I woke up with the sore throat, which also had me coughing up dark brown mucus, but this was resolved later the next day after meds-Have yet to have any breathing obstruction, including in my neck airway and in my nose, head, or chest-Some pain radiating from my head began after getting my teeth out, I think overall getting my teeth taken out now was a poor idea–the meds from the surgery might’ve led to a few symptomsWhat’s known:-No swelling or abnormalities in major organs-Normal CKG blood levels along with a few other tests (I can’t remember what they are)-Test was “vaguely positive” for a monospot, no presence of antibodies indicating current infection, yet an abnormally high concentration of antibodies indicating a past infection, even though I’ve never experienced the symptoms of mono before-Previous confirmed infection of H1N1 in SeptemberDrugs so far:-Amoxicilin after 1st doctor visit-Prednisone, more amoxicillin, hydrocodone after teeth extraction-Amoxicilin-Prav(something) a week and a half after teeth extraction-It’s hard to tell if any meds have helped, usually as one symptom goes another comes about
