Q: I’d like to stretch my earlobes just a little bit – not too big, just enough to be noticeable if you’re close. I’m thinking around 4mm, which is like 8ga or 6ga. So, I’d like to know several things…1-is that gauge size noticeable, if youve seen gauges about that size? should i go smaller or bigger, or is that a 6 or 8 a good size?2-will having a second earlobe piercing affect the stretching negatively? A: 1- A 6 gauge is small! Not very noticeable, It depends what what kind of jewelry you wear, eyelets or plugs. You can always stretch up and if you dont like it they can shrink down.2-Stretching to only a 6g will not effect your second lobe piercing unless you go to larger sizes, but then again it depends how close your second lobe piercing is to your first lobe piercing that you will be stretching.3-The best tool to use for stretching is a stainless steel taper. And use single flare jewelry! NEVER ACRYLIC! (yes its cheap but it is a pourous material that will trap bacteria and cause infections!)4-It is easy to do it yourself. Just take your time, dont be too eager to stretch!! Start off by taking a shower (the warm water will help make your skin more elastic for stretching) get your taper, lube it up with some vitamin E oil, (emu oil is better though) put that on your ear and on the taper, slowly push the taper through till you reach the end and switch out your new jewelry and the taper. TAKE YOUR TIME!! it will be uncomfortable and sometimes painful. If it stops hurting just take deep brezthes and push the taper through a little bit further.Go up only ONE size at a time! and wait 4 to 6 weeks in between stretches! 5- There are many websites to buy jewelry. I don’t have health insurance and have an infected cyst in my eyelid. Where can I be treated?

Q: I’ve had some type of nodule within my inner lower eyelid for a few years. It’s never bothered me at all or effected my vision. Three weeks ago it turned sore, red and swollen, made my eye look like a black eye. The redness is gone but a little hole formed to drain the infected material and now it continuously drains small amounts of infection. I have NO idea what it is. I’m guessing it will require a minor surgical procedure. I lost my job several weeks ago and wasn’t able to afford Cobra coverage. I have no idea where to go for treatment. Is this something an urgent care or ER would handle? I’m worried that if I don’t do something soon, the infection will spread or my eyelid could become disfigured.I’ve looked at pics online and it doesn’t look like a chalazion. It’s fairly small and not round really. Looks like a piece of rice and has some black in it, maybe an eyelash? You can only see it when my eyelid is pulled out. It’s caused the two eyelashes in the front of this area to grow sideways. It almost looks like it has a ‘tail’ that goes down into the lid further.

A: This sounds like a chalazion, and it is actually good that it finally opened up. Apply warm water to the affected area, and let it drain completely. A: I have a Toshiba Satellite A35 S209 running Windows XP Home Ed. I briefly thought I had an infection because I was experiencing enexpected shut down. I was fully patched and running AVG Antivirus. Eventually what I discovered was that I was overheating. Problem is the dual fan air inputs placed underneath. They were clogged. Cleaning with a vacuum helps unclog them, but I still experience frequent overheating and shut down. Before you go thru the hassle of a complete reinstall, definitely check for physical problems. Good luck.P.S. I really hate my Toshiba.
