you have to fast, i had that done when i was pregnant with my daughter and they mande me drink this sweet crap and took blood every 1/2 hour to see how my body handled it. i was diabetic for the whole 9 months
You should not eat 4 hrs before you have it. Anything before that is fine.All these other answers are wrong! My doc told me this information. If you are not pregnant then yes, you don’t eat after midnight.The pregnancy one though where you drink the sugary liquid is no eating, drinking, or smoking 4 hrs before.
you are not supose to eat anything or drink anything after midnight.
at midnight the night before the test you need to stop all food and liquids.
