Ask the doctor who is going to write the prescription for the pills–not me.
You’re not ready for sex, you can’t even spell it out to us without censoring it like this s**. Speak to gynecologist to determine which birth control method is right for you. There are side affects to certain methods.
You need to be on the pill for at least a week if you want it be effective. Even after that you should still use protection as the pill gets to work in preventing pregnancy. It’s always smart to use protection anyway just incase! I would wait a little longer after taking the pill or else use a rubber!
its always a good thing to use condoms to prevent STD’s. The Pill increases effectiveness the longer you take it. wait at least a month before having intercourse unprotected to let the pill build up in your system. every women is different so each one absorbs birth control pills at a differently. to be safe wait a month and to be even safer ware a condom to prevent STD’s.
why dont u use condoms?it will be easier
It takes a month for the Pill to get settled into your system.Use condoms to ensure you don’t get pregnant because you won’t be protected.
BC Pills need some time to increase effectiveness.I hope the decision of not opting for condoms is a joint one and not taken with a view that they reduce the fun. (They do not reduce fun at all). You may reconsider this. You have option of ‘Morning after pill’.That would be great.
me and my girlfriend had sex 4 the 1st time last week and she was only on the pill 4 2 days b4 and it worked 4 us but i cant make any garentees good luck gazz
No, birth control pills don’t really take effect in your body until you’ve been taking them for 2 months or so. If you don’t want to get pregnant, use a condom, or go get fitted for a diaphragm. They also make female condoms now. You have lots of options. Educate yourself. Better yet, wait until you are married so then it would not be “horrifying” if you conceived. There is no birth control that is 100% effective. Go see your doctor for suggestions.
Any time you have sex there is a chance you could wind up pregnant as not birth control is 100% effective. If you are not ready to deal with an accidental pregnancy then don’t have sex. You need to be on the pill for a while before it is effective discuss with your doctor how long you need to be on your specific brand of pills before it is considered safe for you to have sex.
Boyfriend you say? I say Celibacy is the way. That way you wont have to worry about so called “birth control” which could kill you. Besides its goes against God. i know thats probably not the answer you were expecting, buts its the truth. Its not that hard to wait a while. Just wait. Wait.
You should start taking the pill after your period and wait a week to make sure those are in your system. If you guys have waited this long you can wait another week to make sure you are safe. Good Luck and Have Fun!
Well as a doctor i wud recommend not to use pills becoz it wud in turn causes many side effect in future like uterus infection and inability to have pregnancy when u plan to have..So avoid using pills and use condoms
you should check with your gyno about other birth control options. i used depo for 3 yrs and i was told it was effective the first time you got it. but after about 2 & half years i did get pregnant on it but i had a miscarriage before i knew how far i was. nothing is 100% remember that.
I would use a condom. You don’t want to get an STD from the boyfriend. He says he’s a virgin but how do you know and he could still have something. You can still get pregnant even if you did the planning thing. You could be ovulating at a funky time. Read the directions on the BCP to see when you start. The directions also state to use another form of protection for at least 1 month to prevent pregnancy. Unless you want an STD use protection!
Protection, OR DON’T DO IT. I don’t think no one knows. (sidebar) There are times when doctor told people they could never have kids and VIOLA!
