A Strange Bruise?!?
I woke up this morning and I looked on my arm. You know the part where the radial pulse is checked at, and I found a green bruise. The funny thing is that it does not even hurt, and I dont know how it go there! I am anemic, but I have been taking my iron as usual. The thing that worries me the most is that it is green, and I thought that bruises on African American skin are supposed to be black or purple. Should I be worried?

Bruises can be black, blue or green depending on the state of breakdown of the blood in them. Are you sure it couldnt be from jewelery a much more common finding for green skin at the wrist. i dont know about african american skin, but ive gotten green bruises before, and theyve been no big deal.
To me i think that you should go see a doctor.
