My symptoms are= right lower abdomen pain, back pain, stomach pain, vomiting, slight fever, severe burts of pain in my abdomen
A: You said that you are in the ER, so you are exactly where you need to be. Try to be patient. They will get to you as soon as they can. There is nothing for you to do except explain to the doc what is wrong when your turn comes and try to relax until then. I’m sure everything will be fine.
What would you do?? Pregnant!?! Not!?! I need your help please!!?
Q: Please tell me what you think from these details & what you would do. Thanks! *on the pill for almost 1 year* has gained 7lbs in the past 4 months* lower abdominal pain/ slight cramping spradically for the last month*random nausea throughout the day, nothing specific sets it off*taken 4 pregnancy tests in the last 2 months, all were negative*last 2 periods have been ‘different’ (first started 1 week early & was dark brown blood, lasted a little longer than usual but was still light as normal. 2nd time bled for 1 day, stopped, bled another day, stopped, bled another day- all light days. this last time i skipped my ‘sugar pills’ and started a new pack immediately so dont know about that one)* lower back pain- VERY bad back pain*upset stomach in morning, sometimes late at night*tired all the time w/ no motivation*boobs have grown almost a full size in the last 3-4 months & are very sensitive* Normal pregnancy symptoms ive experienced w/ my other pregnancies are: early morning upset stomach, wake early & cant go back to sleep, no real cravings.Do you think i am pregnant & just getting false negatives or not? I know the pill can be blamed for many of these things but i have been on it for almost a year & didnt gain weight, experience tender boobs, etc until the last few months. I dont want to spend the money at the doctor unless its possible i really may be pregnant plus i keep thinking im just psyching myself up so i dont know what to think. What would you do??as stated previously, i KNOW birth control has side effects, but i have been on the SAME pill for 11months & have not had any of these symptoms until now. Its not normal for you to have side effects from the pill a year after use but not when you start them is it? that just doesnt seem right..
A: go to a doctor!!!
34+ Weeks w/ Sharp abdominal pain, cramps, and pooping.?
Q: Okay. Please help if you can. I’m attempting to figure out what’s going on with me!Anyone gone on to have a baby and have insight here or anyone talk with their doctor about this?Symptoms:Cervix is soft with no dilationBraxton Hicks contractions (I assume) – mild menstrual cramp sensation and pressure starting at fundus working down to low abdomen.Feels like baby freaks out during contraction – wiggles and shiftsDr. pointed out baby is head down engaged in pelvis (no mention of where).Feel urge to bear down during contractions and frequently pooping loose stool. This is new in past week as I’ve been entirely too constipated to go even every day. Now it’s once or twice or more a day, but it’s not quite diarrhea, tmi, sorry. As contraction works it’s way down, I get sharp stabbing pains in low abdomen and cervix.Slight low back ache. May or may not be related.Change of position can make it better or make it worse. I never know.I’ve been checked for leaking of fluid – I’m not. I’ve been through a non-stress test to make sure I wasn’t in preterm labor and that babe was OK. They weren’t sure what was really going on and put me on bed rest for 2-3 days just in case. So, my question is, am I in the pre-labor stage (perhaps for several more weeks)? Or am I just having braxton hicks contractions, baby’s punching me down there when he wiggles, and I’m just lucky to have loose stools? Or is there another explanation that I haven’t thought of (what I’m really looking for here)? If you can help, I’d be very grateful. Thanks in advance!Oh, I went in last week with 4 hours of intense regular contractions 8-10 min apart. They wanted to make sure I wasn’t going pre-term. So they ran the string of tests. That’s how I found out all that stuff.
A: Wow, your doctor really checked you out. I wouldn’t mind being on a little bit of bed rest 🙂 I pretty much have had all those symptoms for 3 weeks now (I am almost 36 weeks) and my OB is always like OOOH YOU’RE FINE! haha He always makes me feel like what I am going through is very normal. I can’t really remember what the last weeks were like with my first, but if it makes you feel better I think this is pretty normal, since I am feeling this way as well. The body gets ready for labor as early as 7-8 weeks before you deliver. I don’t know anyone that doesn’t have at least one of these symptoms in the last month. You and I are just lucky to have them all. If it makes you feel better in addition to all that I am experiencing pain in my groin area (feels like I have been riding a horse) and I can barely walk at times! It makes chasing a 20 month old very difficult! Good luck
