Today my doc…?
Q:made a big deal how pale I looked. The minute she walked in she wouldn’t stop commenting about my paleness. I went there for an ear/sinus infection. Anyways, she spent more time in awe looking at my face than treating me for the infection. She told me to come in next week for a blood test.I know my self well, I am not usually pale. I’ve been sick for the last 3 days and I think thats why I looked pale (at least according to her). My skin looked fine to me. Anyways, should I go in for the blood test? I would hate to, I know I’m not anemic b/c I don’t display any other symptoms.

I would, she may have other concerns not related to your iron count.She’s the doc and you go there for her expertise. I say that if your insurance covers it, by all means get a blood test. It’s much better to find things out when they 1st start happening to you instead of waiting and getting permanent damage.Do It!!
