Country singer Dierks Bentley has been burning up Nashville since he released his debut album in 2003. Here are some fun facts about the star and his music:

Life on the Run. The first track on Dierks Bentley’s fourth studio album starts off with a gearing motorcycle to symbolize that listeners are about to be taken on a musical journey.

Beautiful World. The concept behind his song Beautiful World was simply about trying to have a more positive view of the world when so often we hear the opposite.

Advice on songwriting from Dierks Bentley: “You can’t write about stuff you don’t know about. You have to live it. You have to roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty. Live life to be a good songwriter.”

Feel That Fire. The inspiration for his country song Feel That Fire was Dierks Bentley’s wife Cassidy.

On being a redneck: ” — if you saw the inside of my truck, there’d be no question that I have a little bit of redneck in me. It’s a disaster.”
