Jason Crabb’s Latest Album Charts on Billboard

It was announced today, on Friday, October 28 that GRAMMY® Award-winning Jason Crabb’s latest album, The Song Lives On from Gaither Music Group has just charted on Billboard. Just over a week ago, Crabb released the all-new, Live CD and DVD, which was made available through retail stores and online as of October 18th.

The Song Lives On CD landed the #1 position on the southern Gospel sales chart according to Nielsen SoundScan. The CD came in at #10 on the contemporary Christian music chart and at #118 on Billboard Magazine’s Top 200 chart. The Song Lives On DVD took the top position on the Christian music DVD chart, according to Nielsen SoundScan; and it took the #2 slot on the Billboard overall Music DVD chart, just behind Taylor Swift.

“I am thrilled,” said Jason Crabb, upon hearing the news while in the studio working on an upcoming, soon-to-be announced special project. “These songs helped to make me who I am today. I’ve been singing them as far back as I can remember, and I’ve wanted to record them for years, so I personally couldn’t be more excited about the release. Then to see that people want to hear it–that they want to go out and buy it for themselves-that is an honor and encouragement to me.”

Filmed at Nashville’s historic Loveless Café Barn, this all-new collection finds the 14-time GMA Dove Award-winning, nationally acclaimed artist, along with his stage band, putting his own twist to some of the most popular Gospel classics and church favorites of the past few decades.
