Jennifer Aniston is ‘Madly in Love’: Other Stars Who Found Love This Year

It’s official! Jennifer Aniston is head over heals in love. The actress declared her adoration for her latest love from the red carpet at the Glamour Women of the Year Awards earlier this week, exclaiming, “[I’m] madly in love!”

Who is the object of her affections? Not her boyfriend of six months, Justin Theroux! The former “Friends” star was declaring her love for her longtime friend, Chelsea Handler. “I rarely comment on my personal life, but I am here to tell you that I’m madly in love…” she said. “I’m madly in love with the one and only Chelsea Handler!

“It was not love at first sight,” she added. “Like most logical people in the entertainment world, I only appeared on her show so she wouldn’t talk s–t on me…that, and I really wanted to work with the esteemed E! network.”

While she may not be publicly talking about her romantic love for Theroux, the duo have been making the rounds of New York City for the past few weeks. He even accompanied her to last night’s event, but kept a low profile so the actress could shower all her attention on her friend. The two have been spending their time in the city snuggled up in her luxury apartment that has once again gotten the rumor mill swirling with baby and marriage rumors for the couple.

Time will tell if Jen will finally get her happy ending with her new boyfriend. Just in case she needs some inspiration, we’ve dug up some celebrities who found love in 2011:

Reese Witherspoon: She had the perfect family, a career on the rise and a movie star husband. It all came off the rails when Reese filed for divorce from husband, Ryan Phillippe, in 2007. Her two year relationship with Jake Gyllenhaal looked like it was headed for her happy ending right up until they called it quits in 2009. A few months later, Reese went public with her relationship with entertainment agent Jim Toth. The Oscar winner finally got her happily ever after when the two tied the knot at her Ojai ranch in March 2011.

Gene Simmons and Shannon Tweed : It only took nearly three decades and two children together to get the couple to take the big walk down the wedding aisle. The kiss frontman and the Playboy playmate finally tied the knot at the Beverly Hills Hotel in October 2011.

Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries : Their love may not have lasted, but the made-for-reality-tv couple was deliriously happy for 72 days (just long enough to count their paychecks and open the gifts). After a whirlwind courtship, the couple was wed in a celebrity filled ceremony that aired as a special event on E! Just weeks after the wedding raked in the ratings, Kim decided to call it quits proving that not everyone gets the perfect happy ending.
