Mardi Gras Carnival

This full-day event celebrating the tradition of Mardi Gras will give family a chance to celebrate on February 14-February 21, 2011. The Mardi Gras Carnival returns to 34th and Seawall for Mardi Gras Galveston 2012! Rides and a whole day of family fun will be offered.

Ticket sheets: $20 for each sheet of 20 tickets. Each ride is 3-5 tickets per person per ride.

Wristbands: $25 each per person, ride all rides as long as you meet height requirements.

Mardi Gras 101 Balcony Party

Looking for a balcony to throw beads from in Galveston, Texas to celebrate Mardi Gras than travel to 23 rd and Strand? Must be 21 or older to participate in this event. 28th Annual Tremont House Mardi Gras Ball

The Tremont House will salute “The Golden Era of Motown ” during its 28th Annual Mardi Gras Ball and Parade Viewing Party on Saturday, Feb. 18 at 6 p.m. During the evening, guests can enjoy a special appearance by The Legacy of The Temptations presented by Legends in Concert. The cost to attend this premier is $200 dollar per person , includes open bar, buffet, and live music performances by three bands. Party-goers can enjoy viewing of the Knights of Momus Grand Night Parade as floats and marching bands pass in front of the hotel. The festivities will continue into the morning until the night the ballroom will be converted into a classic lounge from 1960s. Breakfast will be served in the ballroom beginning at 11:00 p.m. Dress for the event is black tie or Motown glamour- themed costume.
