OPI has recently announced that they will be releasing a Muppet inspired nail polish collection in November 2011. “The Muppet Movie” was one of my absolute favorite movies as a child, and “The Muppet Christmas Carol” remains a holiday staple in my home. Somewhere, in the dusty stacks of boxes in my mom’s attic, sits my beloved Miss Piggy doll. So you can see, a new nail polish is something that I always find exciting, but having a soft spot in my heart for Kermit, Miss Piggy and the gang, I can hardly wait for the release of this collection.
Featuring twelve brand new shades, this collection features lots of shimmer and glitter making it a perfect choice for Christmas celebrations and holiday gatherings. Here’s a breakdown on these fun shades:
Gettin’ Miss Piggy With It – A fire hot red, this shimmery polish also contains silver specks of glitter.
Divine Swine – Fabulous magenta with silver accents, truly something you could envision Miss Piggy herself wearing.
Fresh Frog of Bel Air – It may not be easy being green, but this shade may still leave you green with envy! Metallic green with silver glitter.
Gone Gonzo! – Gonzo blue with silver glitter accents.
Excuse Moi – An absolute perfect pink, this glittery polish contains little hints of light pink, purple and silver.
Rainbow Connection – This vibrant glitter polish contains every shade in the rainbow, making it ideal for “the lovers, the dreamers, and me.”
