So I really thought that seeing Episode 1 in 3D would magically make this movie better. After so much sadness from waiting 13 hours in line the first time around, but this is 3D and that makes even the lamest movies better. Pod racing, lightsabers, space battles, and even Jar Jar in 3D should’ve been a massive upgrade, right? Well, yes and no.
So all other movies that are big name brands Twilight, Harry Potter, Batman, they are usually pulling big lines at the midnight showing and you usually have to get there around 9pm to even have a chance of getting a good seat. I rushed to the theater, worried that the line would be huge, and when it was all said and done I was the only one there to see it and ended up being one of seven people that showed up.
Most of you, especially Star Wars fans have seen or heard about the story, and know that this is basically the introduction of Anakin Skywalker a.k.a. Darth Vader and how he came to be discovered by the Jedi.
So here’s my review, if you are a Star Wars fan or mega fan then I would say its 3/5 stars and if you are indifferent to Star Wars then its 2/5 stars. The problem with this film is unlike all 5 other films its very story driven and not as much action. If you’re a fan, you should see it, otherwise wait till “Episode 2 Attack of the Clones” and you’ll see more action.
