I’m a little concerned about my hgb levels and being 31 weeks pregnant?
Q: I’m a little concerned about my hgb levels and what we are going to go about to fix this problem. I am 31 weeks pregnant. When I was 5 weeks they drew my blood and my hgb level was 12. I went in to the doctors this last week (at 31 weeks pregnant) and it’s dropped to 8. My symptoms have been vomiting, diarrhea, dizziness, terrible leg cramps (at night especially), sudden rapid heart rate, a feeling of warmth throughout my whole body, terrible FATIGUE, no energy, headaches, and constant nausea. My doctor hasnt really told me anything other than she believes I could have internal bleeding and I’ve developed pregnancy anemia and she is going to monitor me very closely and she is still trying to figure out what she is going to go about doing. I just think she doesnt want to worry me with the baby and everything, and I didn’t ask any questions because I had NOOO idea how serious this is. I dont want to go into anything blindly and unaware of what may need to be done. Can anyone tell me what they think or what may need to be done. I just want a healthy baby, I’d love to feel better, but my little girl is my main focus!!! Thank you so much for your time.
A: Are you taking iron supplements?I was also anemic and had all those symptons and so my OB had me take iron supplements and within 2 days I felt heaps better. A week later I felt normal again.
how do you know if you have hypoglycemia?
Q: i really dont know much about hypoglycemia but i read that the symptoms are•Cold sweats•Confusion•Convulsions•Coma•Double vision or blurry vision•Fatigue•General discomfort, uneasiness, or ill feeling (malaise)•Headache•Hunger•Irritability (possible aggression)•Nervousness•Rapid heart rate•TremblingAlso-•Decreased alertness•Different size pupils•Dizziness•Excessive sweating•Fainting•Hallucinations•Memory loss•Muscle pain•Paleness•Pounding heartbeat (heartbeat sensations)•Sleeping difficultyas soon as i read what the symtoms were i got worried that i might have it too because diabetes runs in my family and because i had seizures when i was a baby and i fainted at school because i had overexercised myself at school in gym.i’ve had almost every symptom i read•Sleeping difficulty•Memory loss•Muscle pain•Paleness•Dizziness•Excessive sweating•Fainting•Double vision or blurry vision(i wear glasses so im not sure)•Fatigue•General discomfort, uneasiness, or ill feeling (malaise)•Headache•Hunger•Irritability (possible aggression)•Nervousness•Rapid heart rate•Trembling•Cold sweats•Confusionsome of the other symptoms that i didnt put is because i might not know what they are.i seriously don’t know if i have hypoglycemia so i need another opinion about, so please tell me.my parents already know and i even got tested by an MRI scanner and the results came back normal(at least thats what my parents said)
A: ummm…an MRI can’t diagnose that sort of thing. However you can go to a hospital and get a glucose tolerance test. It sounds like you might. If you’d rather not take the test try eating high protein, medium carb snacks every 2-3 hours. If you feel better than you shouldn’t have to take the test because the reaction to the diet change should be enough to diagnose yourself from. If it doesn’t work you should take the test just to rule it our but be checked for other things to.
Caffeine Intoxication & Withdrawal?
Q: Alright, heres my problem. There was about a month long period where my diet (sadly) consisted of large amounts of sugar and caffeine. On top of that, I would go running 1-2 miles at night and those things were probably still in my system. There was one time when I had 5 red bulls in a day.About two to three weeks ago I experienced what I thought to be a minor heart attack. Fuzzy/Fatigue/Cool feeling in arms, tight chest, heart palpatations. I experienced this on the way to work so I called a paramedic, they said it was caffeine overdose and that I should flush out my system, eat, and get rest… what did i do? Go to work.2-3 weeks later I’m still experiencing these symptoms after dropping caffeine, like right now for example I feel like I have had an energy drink or coffee recently, when it’s been over a week. Rapid heart rate, tight chest, fuzzy feelings… Are these from withdrawals? The headaches have come and gone already.Answers are much appreciated. Also, ER or Doctor?
A: Hi JohnIt all starts with the basics when dealing with any health issues. Intake of water, nutrition, stress, exercise, and cleansing out excess waste and toxic chemicals in the blood stream. You need to educate yourself on these topics, so you can take control of your health. All drugs do is surpress the issue or push the symptom to another part of the body. THe body gives you signals (in this case anxiety, headaches, and rapid heart rate) to let you know the internal balance isnt correct. Side effects of drugs are not really a serious concern from my point, but even worse is it surpresses the issue deeper down in the body. This is how disease’s occur, by surpressing the issue (s) with drugs or other stimulants (cigs, caffenine, sugar, achohol). Look closely at the suggestions I make below (look at #4 especially), regardless of the health issue. If you do these steps below, you’ll give the body time to heal the issue without having to digest meat. dairy, manmade chemicals, preservatives, etc. Here is a list of important health topics people dont realize or take for granted and thus causes issues. No matter what age you need to have a focus on positivity for a healthy body. Consciously and unconsciously. 1. stress = most of it is self induced. Even thinking and actually talking about negative means you attact more negative energy. Visualize and “Feel” a healthy beautiful body (end result) and you’ll have it before you know it. Once the body breaks down from stress then its much easier to get sick or disease for that matter.Obviously exercise helps manages stress tremendously!Remember what you focus on (negative or positive) is what you will attract in your life. This universal law is called “The Law of Attraction”.2. Lack of water. Drink a gallon of distilled water daily (I do) to hydrate the body and flush out the excess waste and toxins out of the blood. 3. Nutrition = this helps heal the body and will gives it energy to work on the internal issues. Mainly raw Organic fruit and vegetables. If you only ate organic raw F & V for 7-10 days and drank distilled water you would see a change in energy and be on your way to better health. Letting the body rest from digesting meats, dairy, and processed foods would do wonders for you. FInd a great supplement (superfood) to add to your daily diet. Nutrition is the key to healing any issue.4. clogged colon = Not eliminating the processed food and chemicals we eat every day will give anyone an illness and/or disease. If doctors we’re actually taught this, our society would be much improved. DO a colon cleanse to clear out excess waste and toxins in the blood. This will help heal any illness or disease. ALl the vaccines, anti-biotics, man-made chemicals in food (especially fast food), and air quality can give us all kinds of issues, if the immune system isnt strong enough.Start with the basics and healing will begin rapidly.Best of health to you
