Q: Okay, i’m very overweight (not looking for criticism, just a message to all you haters), and hoping to do something about it over the summer. I’m about 2 weeks in to summer and i start school again in late august. I’m not usually an active person, stay inside and play the playstation and get on myspace mainly, but over the summer i’ve planned to get up and active more. On the first day of summer (kind of to kick things off) i walked 3.3 miles with my brother. I was feeling good, but being three years younger he wanted to call it quits, so we called our dad and he picked us up. Aside from walking and exercising more (and the obvious tips of eating healthier, drinking diet drinks, etc…) do you have any personal tips on what i could do to get 1. Quicker results2. More weight lost before school starts again3. Ways to make it easieri have a LOT of weight to lose (over 100 pounds) and i’m only 15. Your tips & thoughts. Personal stories are more than welcome! A: It has been proven that interval training is the fastest way to get results as form of cardio. So, there you go. However, it is not easy. Nothing is going to be easy. You just have to be committed and follow through with your plan. To lose more weight you should boost your metabolism as high as you can. Interval training is a good one. Eat 5-6 SMALL meals a day, about 1500-1600 calories a day, drink lots of water, etc. You can look up stuff like that. Also look up interval training and make sure you understand it, you will get excited. Lol. There are no ways to make it easy, but there are certainly ways to make it more fun. You can listen to music if you want to go alone. Or you can take your brother with you! Or somebody else your age that will give you a challenge. That’s pretty much everything I can tell you. Don’t be discouraged!
