A Christmas Time Poem

It’s Christmas time, not a frivolous time, not a frugal time be.

Say hello, smile at people you don’t know , while walking down the street.

A grunt grunt here, a bah-humbug there, these types people, I’m sure you’ll meet.

Carolers caroling , Santa Clause harrowing at not able to get a seat.

In his own sleigh, I’m sure there lay, nothing but bags of coal.

For importunate youth.

With perturbed attitudes.

I’m sure Mr. Clause will get the boot.

From the importunate youth.

With perturbed attitudes.

That I will declare.

It’s Christmas time, not a frivolous time, not a frugal time to be.
