Katy Perry Disses Chick-fil-A

Katy Perry, whose estranged husband is comedian Russell Brand, continues to be an active Twitter user with over 14 million followers. The “Teenage Dream” singer is not as outspoken on Twitter as, say, a Kelly Osbourne, but when the 27-year-old star feels like speaking out, her Twitter fans know that she will.

Do you love Chick-fil-A? It’s a fast food chain specializing in chicken dishes that some folks can’t resist, including some celebs.

Michael K. Williams of “The Wire” and “Boardwalk Empire” compares the desire for Chick-fil-A to the way sharks are tricked during shark diving. “And they (the divers) throw in these chunks of blood and guts in the water and then they put (in) a piece of wood that looks like a penguin, how cruel is that? It’s like dangling a Chick-fil-A (fried chicken sandwich) in front of me.”

It appears Katy Perry finds it hard to resist Chick-fil-A too. Although, she says she was forced.

Tweets the pop star, “I was just FORCED to eat Chick-fil-A, literally forced. I haven’t had fast food in over a month… Now I’m comatose from a chikgasim. Help!”

But one would ask how a multimillionaire singer could be forced to eat fast food?

However, the 5-foot-8 beauty knows that a diet of chicken biscuits and chicken nuggets would never leave her with the figure she has now. But she doesn’t starve herself. Far too many celebs go that route. Instead, Perry relies on the advice of her celeb fitness trainer and nutritionist Harley Pasternak. She depends on cardio, such as jump roping, and she sticks to an eating routine of protein and fiber-rich meals, even when she’s on the road.

However, the award-winning performer, like everybody else, is human, and humans aren’t perfect. A Chick-fil-A dish, even if she was truly forced to eat it, is okay every once in-a-while.
