Cinecon Classic Film Festival
September 1-5, 2011

See movies from the silent film era as well as movies that were around when they first had sound. There will be guest stars, memorabillia, piano accompaniment and so much more for the total movie buff. There will also be a celebrity banquet on Sunday evening. Tickets and membership needed. Annual Art Deco Festival on The Queen Mary
September 2-4, 2011

There will be a pajama party, a ball, a tea dance, lectures, a bazaar and so much more. A really fun, extravagant way to spend the holiday. It is however affordable because you can either buy a day pass, a weekend pass, a party pass etc…See website for details. Oh, the Queen Mary, if you haven’t heard, is a boat, so you will be on a boat in the water!

Orange International Street Fair
September 2-4, 2011

Family friendly during the day, and more adult friendly in the evening, this Orange International Street Fair has crafts from different countries as well as international food and music. Located in the city of Orange on Plaza Square. Free to get in.

KJAZZ Blues Bash
September 3, 2011 6pm

This annual bash will take place in Long Beach at the Carpenter Center. General admission is $55, which is a great price for all the great music that will be heard as well as the street fair that happens before from noon to 6pm.
