My review of the LG Flatron W2353V I’ve owned this monitor for more than a year. I wrote this article to describe what I liked, and what I didn’t like about this monitor. I wanted to write an honest review on this product, so here goes nothing.

Pros: The Lg Flatron is a full 1080p HD monitor great for playing games, watching blu-rays, and viewing slideshows. I like all the connectivity this monitor has with one HDMI port, a DVI-D, and a D-SUB you should have no problem getting down to business. The menu has a bunch of options to tweak the video settings; to get the picture just the way you like it. With blazing fast response time you will never have to worry about ghosting, or burn in on this monitor. LG has taken all the necessary precautions to keep this from happening. The sound on this monitor rocks, with external speakers plugged up the audio is crystal clear.
Cons: While the sound is great on this monitor; it would’ve been nice to have internal speakers as well. The menus on the LG Flatron can be hard to navigate sometimes causing a bit of frustration. The touch screen buttons at the bottom of the bezel sometimes they don’t respond when you touch them. This doesn’t happen often, but it can get annoying at times. This monitor is missing RGB connectivity which makes plugging up older electronics non-existent. If you’re a big movie buff you might want to get something bigger, but for gaming this monitor does just fine.
Overall: Hey nothings perfect, but where the LG Flatron is lacking it makes up for it in other areas. The display looks amazing, I was floored the first time I laid eyes on it. My final score of the LG FLatron W2353V is 8 out of 10. With all the newer technology out right now it’s best if you buy something up to date, or if you’re not a person who keeps up with trends then this monitor is for you.
