Why, Did God Take The Best Rib From Man?
If you read the book of Genesis, you will find that God made man in God’s own image. Before he did this he made all the animals male and female. So God seen that man was lonely by himself.
Gen 1:26
And God said; Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
We need to see that God made man as he said; let us and our likeness. He was talking to his Son (Jesus) and the holy Spirit.
God said to him self, which it is not good that man be along. So God took man and made him sleep and he took a rib from man and put him back together. Then he took the rib and made a female so that man would not be along any more.
Gen 2:21
And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;
Gen 2:22
And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.
Now, the question is why God didn’t just make woman just like he made man? We must look at God, not as we look at things of this world but into the spiritual world.
In the beginning God made the Heavens and the Earth. You see, God made the Heavens first so we must look at things first in the ways of the Heavens then see things as of the earth in order to even to try to under stand God’s ways.
Gen 1:1
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
The reason God took out the rib of man was to show man that he is not complete with out the woman.
God told them to be fruitful and multiply. We must understand that God did not make man for man and woman for woman; if God did we would not be able to be fruitful.
You see God did not make Adam and Steve or Eve and Eva. God made Adam for Eve so they would be fruitful.
I may self would go around saying that I want my best rib back and one day the Holy Spirit said I did, she is right next to you.
Now, we must see that the reason God took the rib from the man is. In order for the man to keep from having so much pride God took out the best rib man had.
After God took the rib Adam asked God, why you made Eve so beautiful? God said, so you would love her. Then Adam asked, why did you make her body so lovely? Again God said, so you will love her. Adam was a little upset and said, then why did you make her so dumb? God said, so she would love you!!!
The truth is, God knows what he is doing so that the man would depend on her for without her he would really be lost. So man would always be looking for that rib in order complete himself in life.
There are to things man always does wrong first he always says things he wished he did say. Second is he always seems to put his foot in his mouth. Man needs his rib next to him so that she can help him from doing these things all the time.
If it was not for the woman, man would be lost and not be able to find his way around any where he goes for he will not ask for directions to find out how to get where he needs to go.
When man use to have more then one wife. That man could not control himself for the lust of man is to have more then one to please him sexually, the more the better. This was not Gods plan in the beginning. If that was so, then God would have given more women in the beginning of time. I personally do not see how a man can live with more then one wife for it is hard to live with one at it is…
The only reason a man would live with a man or a woman would live with a woman is that Satan has given them the spirit of deception.
Because Satan will always take what God has done for good and turn it around against God. Satan is a liar, a thief, a killer, and will always take what is good then turn it backward of what God has done.
Conclusion:
Man, must understand that without the woman he is nothing. But with the woman he is all that he can be…Just as we, without Jesus Christ we all are nothing. But with Jesus Christ we are all we were created to be…
