How long does it take for chlamydia to be accurately diagnosed after a person is exposed to it? Thing is, I.

Q:Thing is, I know it takes 1-3 weeks for symptoms to appear, if they appear at all, but what if you sleep with someone and find out they “might” have it so you immediately go get tested two days after the sexual contact? Then the results get back and say “no you don’t have it”.. was it too soon to tell? or is it possible to know that soon after exposure??

If that is the case you will be told to be retested after 3 weeks of contact. You may not necessarily have symptoms.
If you have chlamydia you would know! If you have had it before; that is! You can go to WEB. MD and read all about it! How long it takes to see symptoms and the symptoms to look for!
