is oral herpes curable?

It is not curable but it is treatable. Once you have the herpes virus you will always have it. Herpes Type I is the simple cold sore and yes it can be treated..Herpes Type II is the sexually transmitted type and no it is not curable but there are medications that help the outbreak. You can get the same leisons from Type II in your mouth and first I would see a physician to see what type of Herpes I have.
