My kids have been disguising turkeys for a school project for the past few years. The objective of this project is to come up with a disguise for the turkey so that it will not be eaten on Thanksgiving. This activity is a great opportunity to work together as a family. The whole family will enjoy working on this project. Below, you will find directions on how to make and disguise the turkey as well as a list of suggested materials and disguises.

Materials needed: (please note that not all of these materials are needed, they are suggestions, materials will differ depending on how the turkey is going to be disguised)

construction paper to glue turkey body onto
macaroni pieces
felt
construction paper
fabric
tissue paper
ribbon

glue
Directions:
1. Draw turkey body on plain white paper.
2. Cut out turkey body.
3. Glue turkey body to construction paper.
4. Gather all the materials needed for the disguise
5. “Disguise” the turkey however you choose.
