Q: I found a pinworm in my undies I am nearly 4 weeks pregnant I don’t know what to do the my doctor won’t be in for several hours. I just clean, sanitize and cry. Q: a month ago i had (what i thought was pinworm), but my behind didn’t itch, however i took pinworm medication and it got rid of them for a week. Then a week later i had them again, and again i took the medicine. It again, got rid of them, but now they are back again. I have problems with using the bathroom on a regular basis and my behind doesn’t itch. This makes me wonder if i even have pinworm. These wormlike things are in my poo and look like pinworm. What else could it be and what could cure this?

A: it most likely is worms , but it might not itch because it is worst at night. the medicine won’t do it entirely you have to be really strict hygiene wise look up for things like cleaning your bedsheets etc. although having said that my worms went away after a course of antibiotics i was taking for tonsilitis. so if it’s not doing you any harm i don’t think you should be too worried

How long after taking Mebendnazole for Pinworm do they stop returning at night to lay more eggs?

Q: My 9yr old has pinworms and was perscribed Mebendnazole (Spelling?) Today. Tonight they were back again laying eggs and this is very uncomfortable for her. Has anyone dealt with these in a child before? If so does one dose cure it or will I have to get more medication for another dose? Also what can I do for my daughter to alieve her discomfort during the night? I hate seeing her cry like this all night and then sleep half the day away to catch up. Thank you for any help from past experiences.
