Wow, you’re lucky. Do you get your light period every 4 weeks? It doesn’t matter too much how your period is. As long as you are ovulating then you should be able to get pregnant.

Can you be pregnant and still have a “normal” period??

No you do not have a “normal” period because the very purpose of a period is to shed the UNfertilized egg. You CAN bleed while pregnant, but it is not normal. The only way to be certain if you are pregnant is a test either at home…

Pregnancy Paranoia: Should I be worried?
Q: I was always under the ‘misconception’ that if you got your period after having sexual intercourse then it meant-congratulations, you passed: no baby for you. Apparently though, not so. Or at least, that’s what the people around me are insisting. They say that it IS possible for you to be pregnant and still be on/get your period. Now, I know what spotting is and all that jazz, but I figure- hey, everyone is different so maybe if I post my personal case I might feel a little better[or possibly worse.] about my situation. About two weeks ago I met up with an old lover of mine for catch up on the times, and have a few drinks. Well, as you can probably tell just from that, one thing led to another and I ended up spending the night. We weren’t using a condom,[spare me the lectures-I know a few people on the internet like to get holy-roller or on the soap box about this kind of crap.] and though he pulled out, again-we were drinking, and I believe his ‘timing’ was just a little bit off. Though literally the next day after, I end up getting my period. It was a normal period, not light, not heavy, not dark red, just normal. But I’ve been getting nauseous in the morning the last few days, and very moody. [one minute I’m throwing punches in anger, the next I’m crying over a cartoon.] I’m also having soreness in my lower stomach. I do have a panic disorder though, so I’m wondering if these ‘symptoms’ are just being derived from that-but one can never be too sure, eh?Any feedback as to whether I should be hung up on this?Edit: missmad, apparently you need to get your eyes checked, because I specifically said I don’t want any feed back from the soap box. How I view conception is my own personal opinion, and your rude comment isn’t going to change that-only my opinion of you.
A: if you had a period the day after you had sex, then it’s no progeny for you.you’re having a panic attack from dwelling on the matter and beating yourself up over forgetting to wrap it up.if it helps, go to the doctor and request a full-panel screen for pregnancy and STD. that should reassure you.
can you be 3 months pregnant and still have your normal period?
Q: well last time i had sex was 3 months ago and my boyfriend did cum in me and i take these pills that take care of my cycle and if i stop then i keep bleeding so i have no choice but to take them. ive been getting my normal period but its been like a week late. ive gotten fatter from my stomach and face ive been getting backaches and headaches and feel like throwing up a lot. is it possible for me to still be pregnant?
A: yes it is still possible to be pregnant while you are still getting your period. No matter how many people tell you it’s not I know from experience it is. When I became pregnant with my second child I had my period for the first four or five months that I was pregnant when they told me how far along I was I thought they were shittin me because I had still been gettin my period. So if you think that you are prego take a home pregnancy test and then go to your doctor and get a blood test to be sure.
Can you still have a normal period, even if you’re pregnant. Like, the very first few weeks when egg attaches?
Q: Like, within the first 1-3 weeks of pregnancy have a period, and not know you’re pregnant? Say after having intercourse unprotected, and tryin to become pregnant, and still start a period. Because im right on time for my monthly period now, and just start tryin, about 2 weeks ago? But i was on depo for 3 yrs, and have been off of it for 1 yr now? Am i able to become pregnant now, and if so start my normal period this month? It’s very light, and non clotted.
A: When I had my son, I was 4 months pregnant before I even knew and had only missed one period. Although the other three months were lighter. I just thought I was going through a weird phase. And about the Depo. I have many friends (including self) who was on the Depo shot. I come from that era as it was the most popular birth control from my time. 100% of the girls I know either cannot get pregnant (took me 10 years) or could not get pregnant for at least 3 years. But everyone is different I suppose.
