Personally I would say don’t use a tampon until you have had your post-natal check up (6 weeks after the birth?) If you have had this and everything is ok then tampons should be fine.

Q: just sort of need somewhere to get all my thoughts out..Last normal period was June 29th…had sex July 13th..Usually i get that feeling in my stomach before or right when my period started…July 23rd I didn’t get that feeling and when i went to the bathroom there was some pinkish clearish…then it turned more brown…then got a little more reddish..i didn’t need to but to be on the safe side i used a tampon…my period is due around now and for the last 4 days i’ve had that feeling in my stomach like it’s going to start but everytime i run to the bathroom..NOTHING..my boobs feel heavy…my nipples are tender..umm today I gagged twice out of no where..yesterday and today i got up before my alarm went off and my stomach hurt bc i had to pee so bad..I took 3 tests and i’m having no luck…it’s supposed to have a + sign if you are and a line..and 2 lines if you aren’t..1st test only showed 1 line..2nd test had a faint line before i took it..and it came out negative..3rd test blank…So i’m not really asking you if you think i may be pregnant..i’m sure the answer is obvious…but my mother in law and I are going to go tuesday to have a blood test done…i hate home pregnancy tests…THEY SUCK..Maine Guy – Yes I want to be pregnant. A: You could always try a home digital test. There are more clear for sure. If not wait till Tuesday the blood test will tell you if you are or not for sure. No guess work there.

Q: Sunday May 25 I was cramping so much, so I knew the next day I was going to start. Well Monday came around so I noticed I was spotting. Better safe than sorry, so I used a tampon. Well I spotted for the whole week straight. Every time I changed my tampon, I would usually see blood after I wipe but it was clean. I am curious if this is a sign of being pregnant because when I was pregnant for my daughter, I didn’t find out until I was 4 1/2 months. I am having annoying cramping like I am about to start and feeling light headed. Oh and when I was spotting, it was dark blood. Should I wait to take a test at the end of the month?Well I did take a test and it was negative. Now that I am typing my question down I feel stupid because it is probably stress. I usually have short, painful periods but this one just caught me off guard so odd reason. Oh and I have two more tests at home just in case I get curious again. Thanks for your answers.
