Possible miscarriage or maybe something else? ?
Q: So, I am asking this question in hoping that maybe someone might have experienced this before or knows someone who might have experienced this before. It’s been about 48 hours since I have been experiencing these symptoms. It all started a couple nights ago when I went to the bathroom and noticed some old brownish blood that I had discharged and when I wiped, a little bit of fresh blood (pink and red) was on the tissue. I was a little worried but kinda brushed it off b/c there was no pain, cramping or pressure. So, I went on through the night and my husband got off work at 2 am and just for curiosity, we went to the hospital just to make sure everything was fine. The drew my blood and found my hCg level was at 32,000 (which is normal) they also stuck in a cathater, filled my bladder with fluids and did an external sonogram and a internal sonogram (which hurt like hell). The found the baby and by the sonogram they said I was about 6 weeks and 4 days along give or take 3 days. They also found a heartbeat and said everything looked normal and the babies heartbeat was normal as well. They discharged me and said as of right now, your baby is healthy and you probably just had implantation bleeding. I went home happy and just took it easy that day just laying in bed and not doing anything. Well, that night I went to bed, felt fine, had a little cramping every now and again (alot coming from gas) I woke up around 12 am feeling like I was getting ready to start my period, so I get up out of bed, go to the bathroom and as soon as I hit the toilet, blood clots came out and god only knows what else. I screamed for my husband and he and I agreed that we should go to the hospital again. Well, while waiting for the babysitter to arrive for my 2 year old, I went to the bathroom again and more clots came out (not as much) So we arrive at the hospital and I am admitted into the ER and waiting in the OBGYN room. The DR comes in and says lets take your blood to see where you hCg levels are at. So after about sticking me about 5 times to find a good vein, they finally draw blood, waited about an hour and a half (meanwhile going to the bathroom on and off and the blood is letting up, it’s still there, but not as bad as before) Well, the DR comes back and advises my husband and I that my hCg level was at 32,000 the night before and dropped to 26,000 within 24 hours. The DR said that if it dropped maybe a few hundred that might be normal but if it drops thousands than there is room for concern. Of course they label it as threatned miscarriage anytime you have blood. Well, he (the DR) said we can do 1 of 2 things, admit you and start the process for the miscarriage to speed up and then do a D and C or I can write you the prescriptions for metheregin and loratabs and when you feel like you are having pains and you think you are starting to miscarry, then you can take the scripts and start it, then check up with your DR. Well, with me trying to give it as much hope as I could, still trying to hold on to something I decide to have the DR write the scripts and I would go home and play the waiting game. Now, mind you, I am not experiencing any pain, just gas pain and the only symptom I am experiencing is bleeding with clotting. So, I am home now, I started to cramp a little, the bleeding has reduced greatly, I took a loratab and now I am just relaxing, like I have been doing all day. So I guess my question is:~Has anyone ever experienced this before, or know anyone who has?~Could this be a period that I am having while pregnant w/ clotting?~Has anyone ever had their hCg levels drop during pregnancy and everything be normal?~How come I am not experiencing labor like pains if I could be miscarrying?~Is it safe to take loratabs while pregnant?~Is there still hope?I had a miscarriage last January and it was terrible. Everything happend so fast, the pain was all at once and so was the bleeding, it was not gradual like this. I have just been taking it easy and just praying that everything will be ok.Anything as far as advice or past experiences would help just for curiosity. I know no one is a DR on here, but I don’t have my DRs appt til Wednesday and I was just a little curious. Thanks for taking the time to read.
A: i have also had a miscarriage.when i miscarried my baby, it was small whitish tissue, and blood.it happened in a serious snowboarding accident.my baby did not have a heartbeat.your baby would actually have looked like a baby, a very very small, strangely shapen one but a baby nonetheless.it is most likely that you are having a period during your pregnancy, which is very possible.yes, there is still very much hope.miscarriages happen all at once, not over a few days.try not to worry.
How many received positives before they even missed their period?
Q: My LMP was April 11. I usually have a 32-day cycle, and I figured out that my period was due tomorrow (May 13). I had my very first faint faint BFP on Monday May 5! I had clear as day positives on Thursday May 8. The blood test was confirmed on Friday May 9, and my hcg level was 35.9. I have heard of women who test positive before their missed period, but even on the box, the percentages are pretty low, and everyone advises not to test before you actually miss your period. My question is, I had definite positives, on like 4 brands of HPTs 5 days before my missed period. Is that common? I keep taking tests, (partly because sometimes I can’t believe I’m really pregnant) and even the one from yesterday at 2 days before missed period, the test line was darker than the control line! How many had positives way before their period was due, what were your hcg levels, and just out of curiosity, how many were having twins? Thanks in advance!
A: hey i first got a very faint line four days before my period, then two days before my period i took another test which was a clear blue digital and it came up pregnant after 30 seconds, I’m now 15 weeks 4 days with one baby congrats on your pregnancy
