Q: I’m 22 yrs old, have NEVER been pregnant, no bc, and my cycle is like clock-work (allways HEAVY and on time since I first started the darn thing ). I’ve been ttc with my fiance for 3 months now and this month it seem like things were working out for the good. We did everything perfect on the right date and everything. I even got the sharp pains and bad cramps 5 days before my period (due December 2) and I’ve been spotting on and off for 3 days now. The spotting comes and it goes throughout the day and it so fustrating because my period is nearing and i don’t know if its pregnancy or early period. I feel tired, grumpy and weak. I blew chunks all thanksgiving weekend and it feels like I could throw up at any giving time, that’s how nausiated I am.What makes this matter even harder for me is that today a clinician from PP told me that my urine test was 100% negative and that it just may be too soon to tell.I want to give up. I don’t think I can concieve. Why am I bleeding?

A: You really need to go to an OB/GYN doctor right away to find out what is going on with your body. A blood pregnancy test is more sensitive than one done with urine. You can find out for sure faster if you go to a doctor.

Q: i know no one can diagnose me but from what you read, does it sound like im pregnant? ive been spotting since the beginning of june – ever since i had unprotected sex with my partner of 3 yrs. its brown and sometimes very light pink. its never heavy flow like a full blown period or anything & there were never any clots in it. its not painful & ive read things on the internet about women spotting throughout their whole first trimester and how the doc says its ok & fairly common as long as its not bright red and painful. a few weeks back i do remember my breasts being a bit sore and tender but they’re fine now. anyway yesterday i was completely normal & out of no where started to feel light headed and short of breath & i had a headache. then i threw up. i checked my temp and it was normal so i wasnt sick & i know it wasnt anything i ate. after i threw up i felt much better and back to normal so i know i wasnt sick. could i be pregnant? i DO plan to go to the doctor and take a test as well i was just waiting til i missed my period completely for this month but its hard to tell whats going on since ive had all this spotting! ugh.thx! im def. not 3 months pregnant though, if i was id only be about a month cuz this happened the beginning of this month. i was away for a few months so this was my first time in a while.my period was already due. ive been spotting for a whole month so its hard to tell =/i spotted before and after ovulation im guessing because i ovulated the very beginning of this month before i had even had sex, and after sex i still spotted throughout the whole month. i guess the spotting before sex was just ovulation spotting.

A: When is your period due? And when did you start ovulating? Did you spot after ovulation?It sounds like you could be pregnant, but of course you won’t know for sure until you test. Test on the day of your first missed period, or the day after.. I know it’s hard to wait, and I usually don’t wait that long. I’ll buy tests and test daily until a bfp or af. lol. good luck 🙂
