In Britain she is a household name, however the same level of notoriety has yet to be achieved stateside, that is until now. In the 90’s Amanda was a wild child and popular television presenter who is most famous for her work on the show The Word.
She has been married twice; first to John Taylor of Duran Duran fame and has 3 children including twins with Strokes guitarist Nick Valensi. The former host had a brief flirtation with acting but later went into photography which is still her passion.
Her latest project is a series called The Conversation of which she is a co-executive producer with friend and actress Demi Moore. De Cadenet will be putting her interviewing skills to good use on the lifetime channel where her show will be featured. A spokesperson for the channel has been quoted as saying that The Conversation ‘will provide a refreshing and modern take on celebrity interviews as De Cadenet sits down with some of the world’s most famous women to discuss topics universal to all women’
The series will be produced by the 38 year old’s company Decadenet.
It sounds like a surefire hit for the multi-talented pair and I will definitely be tuning in.
