Brownish spotting instead of period?…..?
I’ve always started my periods heavy right of the bat. This time I’ve only had a little spotting, sort of brown in color… Me and my husband have been trying to make a baby the past 2 months now, we have one daughter already. Could this spotting mabey indicate that I’m pregnant or what is it?

You sure that’s not diarrhea ?Brown spotting typically means old blood that the body is just trying to get rid of, so unless there is a foul odor this is quite normal. If you became pregnant during a cycle you would initially miss a period, and implantation bleeding would occur. Implantation bleeding occurs a bit earlier than expected, and it is scanty, spotty, pinkish and not red and heavy like a period, and does not follow the normal pattern of a period (light to heavy to light). If you feel you may be pregnant, your best bet is to wait at least two weeks after a missed period, and see your doctor for a blood pregnancy test as this is the most accurate way of testing.
