How long does Ipecac make you throw up for?

If you take it, or if you give it to someone, make sure that the person who took it drinks plenty of water after they have lost their stomach contents, or they could have damage from the dry heaves.

I have only had to use it once on my little girl, (she ate a mushroom) but it pretty much just made her toss up everything in her tummy and then she was done. Best of luck with what ever you are dealing with. I THINK IT DEPENDS ON THE PERSON REALLY BECAUSE I HAD TO GIVE IT TO MY SON & FOR A CPL OF HOURS AFTER HE THREW “EVERYTHING” UP WHEN HE WOULD TAKE A DRINK OF SOMETHING IT CAME BACK UP.HOPE ALL IS WELL….
