It is so nice to have a white board around to write notes on. I know there are tons of different paper products to leave notes, but they either get lost or worn out. Not to mention that paper is not as green as a dry-erase board. Even if you don’t want to leave notes you can use a dry-erase board to decorate you house with quotes you can change anytime, or if you have your own business you can have stylish sale signs. It’s easy and cost effective.
Here’s what you will need:
A picture frame A poster board Tape or glue
If you have ever watched a show or movie where cops are involved with a huge case you may have seen them writing on a big piece of glass. I always wondered if the glass was a special mixture or if it was just plain old glass. Deciding it couldn’t hurt much I took a dry-erase marker and started decorating my window. It worked just like a dry-erase board. This is where the idea came from.
Since the glass takes the place of a white board you need the poster board as a background. This will make the markers stand out more on the glass. You can use whatever size picture frame you would like. If you are going to be using regular colored markers (blue, red, black, green, etc) then you should use a white poster board. If you are going to be using neon colored markers I would suggest black poster board.
Steps: Take your picture frame apart. Using the back board you can use it as a pattern to cut out your poster board. Glue or tape your poster board to the back board of your picture frame. Put you frame back together and you are ready to use your new dry-erase board.
