One cause of “pinching” or closing of an artery is due to a condition called vasospasm. This is where the arteries actually spasm and can close off. This can bring on a heart attack or a stroke. A primary cause of spasms is tobacco smoke. It is guaranteed to cause the spasms as the artery reacts to the chemicals particularly nicotine.
Don’t worry about the news story. With your symptoms, could be diabetes; I’m not a doc. BUT you ought to go see one; don’t go in assuming you have the “disease of the month”. Oftentimes the smart thing is just to go to the doc. (or clinic, but go somewhere!!)
go to a doctor and get it checked
