Who was the first person to get aids and how did it come about?

if my memory serves me i believe the first case of AIDS has been traced back to 1959. it is believed to have come from a similar disease that affects monkeys and crossed over to humans thru eating monkey meat. monkeys are hunted in deepest africa.

That is a mystery that has never been solved. The earliest they traced it back was to an airline steward. But that is about all. The movie “And the Band played on” covers alot of the early investigating.

I know it started from Monkeys. I just looked up that it transferred to humans by either eating the monkeys or by some filthy person having sex with one. I think eating them sound more appropriate.

No one really knows, or if they do they are keeping it to themselves.There was speculation that it started with the green monkey in Africa either someone eating the flesh of the monkey or having a sexual relationship with it.There was also speculation that is was man made and released into the population as a way of killing off gays and/or people of African-American descent.Nothing has ever been proven to my knowledge.

No one in for sure who exactly was the first person to contract the aids virus, but it is suggested that the virus originated from hunters slaughtering monkeys who naturally have the virus and are unaffected by it (rhesus monkeys) and one accidentally cutting themselves in the process and getting the monkey’s infected blood into the open wound. Then it spread by sexual contact, blood transfusions, etc.
