Is that picture showing the baby’s foot in the mom’s womb real??
No, it is not real. You may see a bump of a hand or a foot, but it is not going to be as defined (ie. able to see fingers and toes) as that photo. There is simply too much muscle and adipose tissue between the fetus and the outside of the m…
Why don’t you show positive pictures of babies, both in and out o…?
There is definitely a place for fetal development imagery in educating the public about who the unborn are. In fact, new technologies, such as 3D and 4D ultrasound, are a benefit to the pro-life movement. Pictures of babies after birth, h…

Yay! It’s A Baby Name Game!!?
Q: I love this idea so I’m gonna try my hand at it.1: At the tender age of 20 you’re in your last year of college and are engaged to be married to a wonderful and supporting man. Life is going good for you and you’re about to start a new job in the journalism field! When the phone rings you eagerly answer, but it’s not the call you’re expecting… Your fiance rushes to your side as you erupt into tears, your mother was in a car accident and pronounced dead at the scene. After much consideration and support from your family you decide that your marriage will take place as planned, on your wedding night you conceive your first child, a baby girl. And in naming her you both decide to honor your mother, what’s this miracle’s name?2: Three years after your daughter is born you and your husband are happily married and comfortable with where you are in life. You begin trying for a baby, and eight months later, days before your daughter’s fourth birthday you find out you’re pregnant with fraternal boy/girl twins. When they arrive the little girl has a hole in her heart, and is barely alive, while your little boy is small but healthy. After months in the hospital and two surgeories, your daughter accompanies you home to join the family. The doctor tells you that if your son and daughter had not switched positions with one another in the womb during your second trimester your little girl’s organs wouldn’t have developed enough to enable her to live. Knowing this, what do you name your little blessings?3: Two years after the twins arrive you and your husband are ready to try for just one more baby but after a few rounds of in vetro the doctor tells you that it may just not be in the cards for you. Immediately upon hearing this you put yourselves on an adoption list, the next year, you welcome home a baby boy from Korea with dark brown eyes, hair to match, and warm, charming features. What do you name this little one?4: Happy with four lovely children now aged 7, 3, and 14 months you and your husband decide to settle down and even move a little closer to his side of the family. After a few months in your new home you and your family make fast friends with many of your neighbors so when your best friend, a struggling young woman, aspiring to be a teacher like yourself, asks you to help name her child, you’re honored beyond words. She tells you that she loves your taste and would like you to pick something that you feel suits the baby when it’s born. The little girl arrives as the picture of perfection with soft, feminine features, wispy white-blonde curls, big blue eyes and a fighting spirit, what’s this little cutie’s name?Hope you had fun 🙂
A: 1. My mom is Joyce Elizabeth, so the baby girl would be Eliza Joy.2. The girl would be Katherine Grace. It means “pure grace.” Katherine has been my absolute favorite name for a daughter for as long as I can remember, and though Grace is a common middle name, it seems very appropriate in this situation, as we would be asking for God’s grace for our daughter to live. The boy would be Gideon James. Gideon is one of my favorite boys’ names (the name of a strong, faithful warrior in the Bible) and James comes from Jacob, which means “supplanter” — in other words, one who switches places, or takes another’s place. (Additionally, James is also a family name.)3. He would be Julian Daniel. Julian is simply a favorite name of mine (well, I prefer Julius, but since I’d probably have to compromise with my husband, it would be Julian). Daniel is my husband’s middle name. Since we gave our biological son a family middle name, I’d want to give out adopted son a family middle as well.4. I’d be very honored, and I’d recommend Clara Juliet. It’s one of my favorite names for a girl, and it seems to suit a little blonde girl. Since I didn’t get a chance to use the name due to family circumstances, if she likes my taste, she’d probably like Clara a lot.

A: BRAD SMITH”Brad Smith’s work portrays a confluence of biology, culture, and technology through totem-like representations of human embryos based on magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). The human embryo has become a nexus for deliberating what it means to be an organism, human, a person, and a citizen. The embryo is variously considered in our culture as property, family member, medical cure, bearer of legal rights, experimental material, a potential, and an actualized individual. These images leverage the technology of MRI to inscribe views of human embryos that conflate the ideas of familial relationships, history, genetic manipulations, and human identity. The totem-like icons are based on MRI data that has been transformed to alter human embryo body patterns in a way that imitates the effects of Hox genes and other body pattern determining genes. The resulting images provide an unconventional view of human embryos—the subjects of intense social scrutiny. Even detached from cultural connotation, the imagery is inherently compelling.”http://lsi.umich.edu/newsevents/upcomingevents/seductionofscaleH.R.GIGERhttp://www.hrgiger.com/newborn.htmCheck out the third image on his 2009 calendar:http://giger.com/Gifts/Calendar2009.jsp
Should the laws protect this baby?
Q: Subject: Tiny Hand Of Hope A picture began circulating nearly 10 years ago. It should be “Picture of the Decade.” It won’t be. In fact, unless you obtained a copy of the paper, you probably will never see it. The picture is that of a 21-week-old unborn baby named Samuel Alexander Armas, who is being operated on by a surgeon named Joseph Bruner. The baby was diagnosed with spina bifida and would not survive if removed from his mother’s womb. Little Samuel’s mother, Julie Armas, is an obstetrics nurse in Atlanta. She knew of Dr. Bruner’s remarkable surgical procedure. Practicing at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, he performs these special operations while the baby is still in the womb. During the procedure, the doctor removes the uterus via C-section and makes a small incision to operate on the baby. During the surgery on little Samuel, the little guy reached his tiny, but fully developed, hand through the incision and firmly grasped the surgeon’s finger. The photograph captures this amazing event with perfect clarity. The editors titled the picture, “Hand of Hope.” The text explaining the picture begins, “The tiny hand of 21-week-old fetus Samuel Alexander Armas emerges from the mother’s uterus to grasp the finger of Dr. Joseph Bruner as if thanking the doctor for the gift of life.” Little Samuel’s mother said they “wept for days” when they saw the picture. She said, “The photo reminds us my pregnancy isn’t about disability or an illness, it’s about a little person” “The Hand” of the fetus. You can see the actual picture, and it is awesome…incredible. Pass it on.. The world needs to see this one.http://www.michaelclancy.com/
